Staff Remote Reporting Holmes, William 23 Mar 2020 20:07 UTC

Dear AIEA colleagues,

I know this is a crazy time for all so I hope you are each holding up well.

The last thing we want is to place any undue stress upon our staff who are getting used to this “new abnormal” of working remotely. As international offices, I think we might be a bit ahead of the curve in preparation given the amount of work we do while abroad. But those are short periods. As this could turn into an extended exercise, I think it prudent to create an alternate “reporting-in“ mechanism for the individual units and their managers without Seeming to micro-manage. It is certainly harder to stay in touch and current with all details when not in an office setting.

Any examples of what you are doing differently relative to your typical unit reporting would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,
