The Associate Director of Global Education in the Office of the Vice Provost for Global Affairs (OVPGA) provides leadership for academic programs across campus to incorporate global learning opportunities such as virtual exchange, Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), integration of the study of diplomacy, global experiences or global content in the on-campus curriculum at UNC-Chapel Hill. The Associate Director partners with and supports UNC-Chapel Hill faculty in the development of globally-oriented and globally-partnered undergraduate and graduate courses or modules, often in collaboration with faculty at global partner universities. The Office of the Vice Provost for Global Affairs has primary responsibility for shaping and implementing the University’s global strategy.
