Announcing AIEA 2020 Call for Committee Member Nominations - Due November 11th

The Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) invites applications for a three-year term of service for the following AIEA committees:

Leadership Development Committee
The Leadership Development Committee focuses on the development and delivery of programs that address the needs of new international education leaders. The Leadership Development Committee created the AIEA Leadership Academy for New SIOs and created and oversees the Senior Advisers Program.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee focuses on strategies for the recruitment of new members both in the U.S. and outside the U.S. The committee develops membership policy proposals and makes recommendations to the Board regarding member-related issues.

Policy Advisory Committee
The Policy Advisory Committee responds to policy issues impacting senior international officers; regularly prioritizes policy issues to be addressed by the Association; recommends and develops ways in which to address key policy issues; and educates members on all levels of policy advocacy.

Strategic Issues Committee
The Strategic Issues Committee regularly identifies and prioritizes strategic issues in internationalization that need to be addressed through professional development initiatives for senior international officers.

Volunteer committee members are among this association's most important assets. It is thanks to the expertise, hard work, and commitment of Board and committee members that AIEA has been able to sustain its efforts to advance strategic, transformational approaches to the internationalization of higher education.

We would like to encourage you to apply to serve on a committee, where your contributions would be highly valued. AIEA believes your leadership, knowledge and innovation will contribute greatly to the dynamic task of shaping the future of internationalization.

REQUIRED MATERIALS
To be eligible for consideration, you must submit an application and include the following supporting materials:
1. A statement of interest (100 words)
2. A current abbreviated copy of your CV

TO NOMINATE A COLLEAGUE
If you wish to nominate someone else, you must notify the nominee to request that that they submit their materials via the online submission form. Nominations without supporting materials are incomplete and will not be considered.

*Please note: All committee members must have an active membership in AIEA in order to serve on an AIEA committee. Committee members can serve on only one committee at a time. Also, note that AIEA is currently rethinking committee structures, which may necessitate some structural changes in 2020 and beyond.
